Strategic Leadership & Management:
Assist the CEO in setting and executing the company's strategic goals for the Greater China region, HK and other branch office.
Oversee and optimize daily operations for air, ocean, and land freight, ensuring they are cost-effective, efficient, and compliant.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations and sales support team.
Supplier & Factory Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for key factories and suppliers across Mainland China.
Negotiate competitive rates and secure capacity with carriers, truckers, and warehouse providers in China.
Proactively manage and resolve any operational issues arising from the origin (China), including delays, customs hold-ups, or documentation problems.
Client Operations & Communication:
Work closely with international clients to understand their supply chain needs from their Chinese suppliers.
Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication (in both Mandarin and English) between all parties – clients, factories, and internal teams.
Provide expert guidance to clients on the best logistics solutions for their cargo moving from China via Hong Kong.
Business Development Support:
Support the sales team by providing operational expertise during client pitches, particularly for complex China-origin shipments.
Identify opportunities for account growth and development within the existing client base by offering value-added services.

Qualifications and Experience: Must be a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker; fluency in English is essential. Cantonese is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in international freight forwarding, with a significant portion focused on China-origin logistics. Proven and extensive experience working directly with factories and suppliers in Mainland China. A strong existing network is highly advantageous. In-depth knowledge of China customs regulations, export procedures, and domestic transportation. Demonstrated experience in a senior management or leadership role, with a track record of managing teams and P&L responsibilities. Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Hong Kong.
