Job Title: ASO Growth & Paid Media Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for a data-driven and results-oriented ASO Growth&Paid Media Manager to lead our user acquisition efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling our app’s organic visibility through App Store Optimization (ASO) and driving high-quality user growth via strategic Paid Media campaigns. The ideal candidate lives and breathes mobile data, understands the nuances of the Apple and Google ecosystems, and has a proven track record of managing high-budget performance marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. App Store Optimization (ASO)
Search Visibility: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and optimization for the App Store and Google Play Store to improve organic rankings and discovery.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead continuous A/B testing of app icons, screenshots, and video previews (using tools like Product Page Optimization or Google Play Experiments) to maximize install rates.
Metadata Management: Write and optimize compelling app titles, subtitles, and descriptions that balance SEO requirements with persuasive copywriting.
Ratings&Reviews: Implement strategies to encourage positive user reviews and work with the product team to address common pain points mentioned in feedback.
2. Paid Media&User Acquisition (UA)
Campaign Management: Build, launch, and manage performance-driven campaigns across Apple Search Ads (ASA), Google App Campaigns (UAC), Meta (FB/IG), and TikTok.
Budget Allocation: Own the marketing budget, ensuring spend is dynamically shifted toward high-performing channels to maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and minimize Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).
Creative Strategy: Brief design teams on high-performing ad creatives based on data insights and industry trends.
Remarketing: Develop and execute re-engagement strategies to bring lapsed users back into the app.
3. Data Analysis&Attribution
MMP Management: Manage Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch) to ensure accurate attribution and deep-linking performance.
Funnel Analysis: Monitor the full user journey—from ad click to in-app conversion—identifying bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
Reporting: Create and present weekly/monthly performance reports to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
Privacy Compliance: Stay ahead of industry shifts, such as Apple’s SKAdNetwork (SKAN) and Privacy Sandbox, to ensure campaign measurement remains robust.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Mobile Growth, App Marketing, or Performance Marketing.
Technical Proficiency: Dp experience with ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower) and major ad platforms.
Analytical Mindset: Expert-level skills in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
Creativity: Ability to understand user psychology and translate it into high-converting visual and text assets.
Communication: Strong ability to collaborate across Marketing and Product teams.
