Responsibilities
Compassionate Care: Feed, groom, and weigh animals, ensuring they receive the love and attention they need.
Clean and Comfortable: Maintain a tidy clinic and ensure a safe environment by cleaning cages and bathing animals.
Technical Support: Operate diagnostic equipment and manage surgical tools with confidence.
Gentle Restraint: Safely restrain animals for examinations and procedures.
Emergency Response: Provide first aid to pets in emergencies, stabilizing them until a veterinarian takes over.
Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by our veterinarians.
Observant Reporting: Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the vet.
Client Communication: Reassure pet owners about their pets’ care and address any questions (e.g., appointment availability, insurance matters).
Educational Support: Offer valuable resources and information to pet owners on animal care, specific conditions, and post-procedure guidance.
Compliance: Adhere to hospital standards, rules, regulations, and policies.
Inventory Management: Assist with stock ordering and lab machine maintenance.

Experience: Up to 2 years in a Veterinary Assistant role or similar position is a plus.
Animal Affinity: Comfortable working with various animals (cats, dogs, etc.).
Customer Service Skills: Previous experience in administrative or customer service roles is advantageous.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Empathy: A patient and caring personality, able to show compassion to both pets and their owners.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and keep precise records.
Physical Stamina: Meet the physical demands of the job and work well under pressure.
Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work shifts (some locations).
Language Skills: Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is a plus.
Education: High school diploma required; a Veterinary Assistant certification is preferred.
