The Role: We are looking for a resident Investment Director in Hong Kong to originate, execute, and lead hard-tech and advanced manufacturing deals across Greater China. You will be a member of the Investment Committee and will have a personal deal-sourcing target of HK$1 billion in deployable AUM within 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination: Develop proprietary deal flow in the EV supply chain, semiconductor, robotics, and Industry 4.0 sectors; utilize resources from HKSTP, Cyberport, local universities, and government funding schemes.
Execution: Oversee the complete execution process, including term-sheet negotiation, financial modeling (DCF / LBO), legal documentation (SHA & SPA), and closing transactions.
Post-Investment Value-Add: Create 100-day plans; facilitate follow-on financing (pre-IPO, mezzanine, green bonds) and strategic introductions to customers.
Portfolio Governance: Track KPI dashboards; prepare quarterly board packs and exit memoranda (trade sale, HKEX IPO, SPAC).
